Max Sweeney is a contemporary illustrator and sequential artist based in Western Massachusetts. His work takes the form of surreal drawings, paintings, duotone comic sequences, and digital collage and mixed media, typically drawing from dreams, memories, and other elements of the unconscious mind. His work aims to bridge the gap between real and imaginary, and represent the delight and terror of the internal world. Max was born in 2004, and is currently enrolled in their third year at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts as a Studio Art major with a minor in Art History.
